Xayide

I read Michael Ende's Neverending Story when I was thirteen and I was so fascinated by this character. This was the first time I saw how evilness can adopt such a beautiful face. Before this, in all the books I have read witches were awful and nasty. And here I found a delicious creature, that hides evil intentions. Atreyu and Xayide are my favorite characters from this book. This picture shows how Bastian saw her for the first time, at her palace, sat on her red coral throne. If you haven't red this story I don't know what are you waiting for!
